An introduction to Greasemonkey

Many people do not know about Greasemonkey. But when they need it, they search many web pages and don’t find what exactly it is. Greasemonkey is extensions of Mozilla Firefox that will provide functionality of changing your web pages in one go through userscripts.
Greasemonkey is devolped by Anthony, Aron Boodman and john sundstrom. Grease monkey is an add-on/extension which are used by Firefox for installing userscript.
Greasemonkey itself do nothing but can be used to change the outlook and functionality of webpages. Greasemonkey manipulate and analyze the data on user requirements which are using this addon/extension.
Greasemonkey provides customization to WebPages from user requirements through user script. Grease monkey can be used in:
- Social Networking Sites: you can used it on face book or orkut for changing its outlook like color, smilies or some style and blocking some adds.
- Pop-ups or Ads: You can block adds on your WebPages for faster loading of webpage.
- Formatting: You can change the style of text, layout and borders of WebPages through this. It can also be used for adding links, buttons or any HTML in webpage.
- Fill Forms: You can use it for auto form filling through this you can avoid duplication of work and consume less time.
- Enhancement in Data: you can enhance your contents or data through this add-on.
