Disable Autorun is a free utility which helps to selectively or completely disable all Autorun capabilities for computers that run Windows 2000, Windows XP, Windows Server 2003, Windows Vista, Windows 7, and Windows Server 2008 systems.
The main purpose of Autorun feature is to provide a software response to hardware actions that you start on a computer. Autorun has the following features: Double-Click, Contextual Menu, AutoPlay.
These features are typically called from removable media (flash-drives, portable drives, card readers and other gadgets). During AutoPlay, the Autorun.inf file from the media is parsed. This file specifies which commands the system runs. Many companies use this functionality to start their installers.
In versions of Windows that are earlier than Windows Vista, when media that contains an Autorun command is inserted, the system automatically executes the program without requiring user intervention. Because code may be executed without user's knowledge or consent, users may want to disable autorun feature because of security concerns.
Removable USB/thumb drives use the Autorun feature to load files when the drives are plugged into the USB port. Virus & malware exploits the Autorun feature to spread from thumb drive to PC. You can disable the autorun feature to prevent malware from spreading.
Windows 7: The new security features of Windows 7 will not run autorun programs unless it's on optical media. These commands are still available for CDs and DVDs in Windows 7, but not for USB sticks.

For whatever reason, Windows is pretty good about giving you a lot of options for tweaking your system's power profiles. You can stick to the default setups of High Performance, Balanced, Power-Saving, et cetera, or you can customize your own power profiles based on your own preferences for hibernation time, hard drive spin-down time, and a ton of other options. What you can't customize, however, is when said profiles will kick into gear--that's always something you have to select when using your system.
SetPower is a fun little utility that lets you assign a time to your power profiles. You can specify the hours when you'll want your laptop to automatically default to high-performance mode or power-saving mode, for example. BattCursor offers a number of different options similar to BatteryBar, in that you can add all sorts of icons and visual displays to better inform you of your remaining battery life. As the name implies, however, BattCursor's biggest feature is its ability to actually change the color of your mouse cursor to reflect the time remaining before your laptop goes poof. It's a unique little trick that isn't replicated in other battery monitors and, more importantly, it doesn't actually look that bad when going about your normal Windows routines on a laptop. For the ultimate in battery preservation, AMP WinOff is a great utility for specifying exactly what your laptop should do after a set period of time or CPU inactivity. You can set specific time or timer that will shut down, hibernate, or lock your laptop (amongst other choices), or you can tell the program to perform said actions after a measured amount of CPU use has elapsed. Although Windows does offer similar choices via its power profiles, AMP WinOff simply offers more. And if you happen to also have a desktop system in addition to your laptop, this is a great tool for turning off your PC after it's finished a lengthy operation--if you're copying a huge batch of files in the wee hours of the morning, why let your computer run all night for no reason?

Have your ever wondered how much distance your mouse travels everyday in meters? How many times you click the left and right mouse buttons? I’m sure many of them want to know this for a change. So here’s a tiny tool specially for the geeks to check how long your mouse have been travelling, clicking all over the desktop.
RSI registers and draws your mouse movements, counts the number of left and right mouse clicks, displaying the distance covered, accurately.

Windows 7 Little Tweaker is a small and simple to use utility that let you easily activate a few useful extras for Microsoft's new OS, Windows 7 Ultimate.
Windows 7 Little Tweaker is a Windows 7 only portable application and will not run on any other Windows versions.
Windows 7 Little Tweaker must run as Administrator, and with UAC disabled.
This is a 32bit application, and will not run for now on a 64bit OS.
Available tweaks:
- Add "Copy To" option in files and folders context menu, so that you can easily copy them to other locations
