Upgrading to MCSE Server 2003

Upgrading to MCSE Server 2003 from other Microsoft Qualifications:
For those who already hold a major Microsoft certification, or an older version of the MCSE, and who wish to upgrade to MCSE 2003, Microsoft has streamlined the path required to upgrade to the 2003 certification.
If you already hold MCSE on Windows 2000:
All you need to do to upgrade from MCSE Windows 2000 to MCSE Server 2003 is to take and pass exams 70-292 and 70-296.
If you already hold MCSE on Windows NT 4.0:
If you wish to upgrade to MCSE Server 2003 from MCSE Windows NT 4.0 you need to:
Pass the 4 core exams in the Networking System category
If you have already passed 70-210 or 70-270, then no further action is required in the core Client Operating System section, otherwise one of those exams must be passed.
If you have already passed a Windows 2000 Design exam (70-219, 70-220, 70-221, 70-226, 70-297, 70-298) then no further action need be taken for the Core Design section, otherwise one of the Server 2003 Core Design exams must be passed.
No elective exams are required to be taken.
If you already hold Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA) on Windows 2000:
If you wish to upgrade from MCSA to MCSE 2003 you need to:
Core exams:
Networking System: Both 70-293 and 70-294 exams are required, and an MCSA Windows 2000 holder can take the exam 70-292 instead of 70-290 and 70-291.
Client Operating System: No exams required to be passed.
Design: One exam from the two choices (70-297 and 70-298) is required.
Elective Exams:
No exams required to be passed.
