How to perform unequal-cost load balancing using EIGRP?
Do you like this story?
The default behavior of router is to perform the equal load balancing to distribute the network traffic over the available path with same distance from the destination. You can increase the performance of your network using the load balancing techniques. You can perform load balancing using two methods: Equal Load balancing Unequal-cost load balancing All routing protocol like (RIP, RIP v2, IGRP, EIGRP & OSPF) support equal cost load balancing but IGRP and EIGRP support unequal cost load balancing also. In today tip we will try to perform unequal cost load balancing using EIGRP protocols. Follow the network topology of three different class networks. There are two parallel links between router A & B with bandwidth 256 & 512.
